1. Almost all the supplier's main material of kamado is Cordierite, and Auplex is Mullite,it decides the excellent of its thermal shock resistance.

2. All the nuts & bolts are stainless steel. Only the top vent and charcoal plate are made of cast iron, and all other material is stainless steel, and it passed major North America country standard for the cooking grid, like FDA, it's safe & health for food touching.

3. Cast Iron Charcoal Grate & Top Vent are powder coated. It passed 24 hours salt fog testing (highest standard)

4. Gasket is made by refractory material, it can touch fire directly over 2 seconds.

How Are Ceramic Cookers Constructed?

Auplex BBQ ceramic grills are constructed from high-grade ceramics like cordierite, which provide excellent thermal retention and durability. The bottom body is thick and heavy, and topped with the upper lid, both covered with a high-temperature-resistant glaze. Some models feature powder painting finishes for color. These cookers use lump charcoal and can handle temperatures from low smoking (around 50°F) to searing heat (over 800°F). This wide temperature range and insulation efficiency make them suitable for smoking, roasting, baking, and grilling.


How Do You Control Temperature On Auplex BBQ Grills?
